Senior Principal Engineer (MOCVD)

Job Description:

• Operate and manage MOCVD reactor systems for semiconductor epitaxial growth processes supporting production and new product development projects.
• Perform process monitoring, material characterization, and quality analysis to ensure wafers meet required technical specifications.
• Lead MOCVD process engineering and development activities for optoelectronics and photonics integrated circuit products.
• Improve manufacturing yield, process stability, quality control systems, and manage process change implementation.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, quality programs, and provide technical training to engineers.
• Monitor material consumption, support cost reduction initiatives, and evaluate new materials for process qualification and reliability.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and ensure high uptime and performance of MOCVD equipment and characterization tools.
• Ensure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards related to MOCVD operations and hazardous materials handling.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers and support cross-functional engineering projects.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers on quality matters, corrective actions, process improvements, and regular engineering performance reporting.

Job Requirements:

• Min Master’s Degree
• A minimum 8 years of experience in MOCVD epigrowth process for III-V materials and based on planetary reactor systems with extensive experience in manufacturing/ process development, operations management in the field of photonics, semiconductors, telecommunications, company with similar or larger size and market capitalization.
• Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality and Operations,
• Understanding process validations. Experience using Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Knowledge of up-to-date production and automation equipment, processes, designs and functions
