Senior Product Marketing Engineer (Yishun)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: Asean RHQ - Product Marketing Department

Report to: Assistant Manager

Functional Relationships with:

Relationship with ASEAN business development related members like Application engineering, Marcom team, Business Development team, Sales team and also with related Products Department in Japan HQ.

POSITION PROFILE: 

Based in:  Singapore

Job Site: Yishun

The successful candidate will: Responsible for business creation/pre-sale of RF/Wireless connectivity products to expand ASEAN, India & Oceania business and support local sales for design wins. Regional travel is required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

·       Identify and develop new and existing customer opportunities through market understanding and research.

·       Provide technical support to customers to get successful implementation of our product concept via close follow up.

·       Manage the customer’s request and requirements by working closely with related functional members.

·       Hypothesize and develop key for success strategies/business model to targeted applications/product concept.

·       Drive penetration of Murata solutions through engagement with ecosystem partners such as Semiconductors makers, Design House, System Integrators, and other strategic partners.

·       Conducting presentations and product use demonstrations to customers.

·       Support to marketing and communications team for marketing purpose.

Ability / Competency Required:

·       Bachelor degree in Electronics, with minimum 2-3 years of working experience in RF, Wireless connectivity or Semiconductor industry.

·       Electronics engineering knowledge, esp. wireless connectivity (like Wi-Fi/BT, LPWA) and embedded device (like C programing, RTOS, Linux) will be advantageous.

·       Knowledge in IoT device market will be advantageous.

·       Good communication and presentation skills.

·       Able to work well as a team player while being independent and pro-active.

·       Positive attitude in challenging work environment.

·       Willing to travel for ASEAN and India region.
