Key Roles and Responsibilities 

• Lead quality planning activities including FMEA, Control Plans, ITPs, supplier qualification, and mistake-proofing initiatives.
• Conduct and support internal, supplier, and contractor quality audits and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS), procedures, and quality documentation.
• Lead supplier quality management activities including performance evaluation, supplier development, certifications, warranty claims, and corrective actions.
• Drive quality improvement through data analysis, statistical methods, process control, and continual improvement initiatives.
• Support project quality assurance throughout material receiving, installation, testing & commissioning, and asset handover.
• Verify compliance of works, materials, and deliverables against project specifications, engineering standards, and EPC contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, O&M, HSE, Procurement, Contractors, and Customers on QA/QC matters.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), CAPA, and RCA processes, ensuring timely closure and effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and critical equipment inspections locally and overseas when required.
• Review quality records, test reports, commissioning documents, and handover deliverables to ensure compliance and completeness.
• Prepare quality reports, inspection findings, KPI dashboards, and management updates.
• Support contractor and supplier quality development programs to achieve required quality standards.
• Promote a strong quality culture and ensure compliance with Company Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements. 

Qualifications & Experience 

• Degree/ Diploma in electrical or mechanical or civil engineering discipline
• Minimum 3-year working experience as a engineering manager, QA manager, or engineering team lead.
• Knowledge of the SS:638 & SS601 preferable
• Holds a recognized Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certifications
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma quality concepts and tools 

Specific Skills

• Self-starter and ability to self-manage.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Quality Management system and process
• Practical knowledge of 8D and root cause analysis process.
• Not afraid of heights, medically fit and able to climb vertical ladders.
• Holding a recognized Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certifications is preferred   
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma quality concepts and tools is preferred   
• Safety certifications such as Working at Height, Construction Safety Orientation Course etc. preferred.
