Senior Solutions Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to support the commercial team in designing and delivering data centre solutions for enterprise, cloud, hyperscale and colocation customers. The role combines technical consulting, solution design, customer engagement and cross-functional coordination throughout the sales lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales teams to understand customer technical, operational and business requirements.
• Develop and present data centre solutions including power, cooling, space, connectivity and deployment strategies.
• Lead technical discussions, workshops, site tours and customer presentations.
• Support RFI/RFP responses, solution proposals and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Operations, Delivery and Commercial teams to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned with business objectives.
• Provide technical guidance on data centre infrastructure, capacity planning and customer fit-out requirements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the pre-sales process.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, Telecommunications or related Engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in data centres, telecommunications, critical facilities, consulting or related infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of data centre power, cooling, connectivity and operational requirements.
• Experience in technical pre-sales, solution design, consulting or customer-facing engineering roles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer-focused solutions.
