Senior Vision Software Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software for real-time image acquisition, processing, and machine vision applications.
• Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for wafer alignment, defect detection, pattern recognition, and inspection.
• Integrate industrial cameras, motion controllers, frame grabbers, and other vision hardware with software applications.
• Deploy and optimize AI and deep learning models for automated defect classification and inspection.
• Improve software performance through multi-threading, GPU acceleration, and code optimization for high-throughput manufacturing.
• Develop unit, integration, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) tests to ensure software reliability and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and support CI/CD implementation, software documentation, and version control.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in machine vision, computer vision, or software development, preferably in the semiconductor, automation, or industrial equipment industry.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python, or C#, with solid object-oriented programming (OOP) knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV, Halcon, MIL, or PCL.
• Experience with multi-threading, GPU acceleration, or high-performance computing technologies such as CUDA, TensorRT, OpenVINO, or Intel IPP.
• Proficient with Git, CMake, and Linux or Windows development environments.
• Experience with industrial camera interfaces (GigE Vision, USB3 Vision, Camera Link, or CoaXPress), semiconductor equipment, or UI frameworks such as Qt or .NET is an advantage.
