Senior/Product Designer (IT Industry)

We are seeking a creative and user-focused Product Designer to create intuitive, accessible, and user-centric digital experiences that align with business goals and product vision. The role involves collaborating with Product Managers, Business Analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to understand user needs, design effective solutions, and validate them through research and testing. The ideal candidate can balance user experience, business objectives, and technical feasibility within Agile delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities

User Research & Discovery

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to identify user needs, behaviours, and pain points.
• Analyse findings and recommend design improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define user journeys, design challenges, and requirements.
• Apply human-centred design principles and validate solutions through regular user testing.

Product Design & Prototyping

• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Design intuitive, accessible, and responsive user interfaces.
• Translate business and user requirements into practical design solutions.
• Use prototyping and iterative testing to refine concepts before development.

Agile Delivery Support

• Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and engineers to define requirements and UX expectations.
• Document UI/UX requirements, user flows, interactions, and acceptance criteria.
• Support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and design reviews.
• Balance user needs, business priorities, and technical constraints in design decisions.

Implementation & Collaboration

• Partner with development teams to ensure accurate design implementation.
• Provide design specifications, assets, and implementation guidance.
• Review completed features and ensure alignment with intended user experience.
• Communicate design rationale effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Design Systems & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain consistency through design systems, reusable components, and UI standards.
• Contribute to improving design processes, standards, and best practices.
• Champion user-centred design and identify opportunities to enhance usability, accessibility, and overall product experience.

Requirements

• Degree in Interactive Design, Digital Media, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field. Relevant professional experience in UX/UI, Interaction, or Product Design may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, or related digital product design roles.
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work, including user research, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and delivered products.
• Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of user-centred design, interaction design, usability, accessibility, and responsive design principles.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating user insights into actionable design improvements.
• Familiarity with Agile software or product development environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across product, business, and engineering teams.
• Proficient in UI design and familiar with front-end frameworks or libraries such as React, Tailwind, or similar.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies and design implementation best practices is advantageous.
