JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote Harris Pye’s engineering solutions and heat transfer services in the Power and Industrial Plant sector in Singapore.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in line with company strategy.
Build and manage relationship with existing and potential clients.
Collaborate with in-house team to prepare customized technical solutions based on client’s specifications.
Conduct client visits, site inspection and technical assessment to prepare a comprehensive bid or proposal as part of the sales process.
Follow up with clients closely to negotiate and close deals to meet sales targets.
Plan and lead the project execution in collaboration with the internal and/or external manpower and stakeholders within the timeline.
Monitor project budget and ensure cost-effective sourcing and procurement process.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, standards and technologies.
Participate in major trade exhibitions, conference and client meetings.
Provide feedback to Management on client and market developments, potential new ventures and opportunities.
Keep contacts database updated in the company’s CRM
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using the CRM tool.
Minimum Qualification:
Engineering degree related to the Power and Industrial Plant sector
Strong computer literacy (Microsoft 365, Dynamics NAV or CRM tool)
Proficient in project management, technical documentation and proposal writing
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
Minimum Experience:
Over 10 years of technical experience in inspections, repairs, refurbishment and complete turnkey boiler systems.
At least 5 years of technical sales experience, client management and business development
Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies in a technical services environment
Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams on engineering projects.
