Service Engineer (Scientific / Analytical Instruments / MNC)

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site installation, commissioning, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of analytical instruments.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions for end users such as scientists, engineers, and distributors.
• Engage with customers to understand service issues and deliver effective technical solutions for scientific and analytical instruments, including Particle Size Analyzers, XRF, Spectroscopy, and ICP systems.
• Work closely with internal sales teams and regional technical support to ensure high standards of service delivery.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as a trusted technical advisor.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for preventive maintenance and service contracts.
• Prepare service and spare parts quotations in response to customer enquiries.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in servicing scientific or analytical instruments (candidates with 4 years or more experience are preferred).
• Familiarity with analytical instruments such as Particle Size Analyzers, XRF, Spectroscopy, and ICP will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, positive in attitude, and able to work independently.
