Service Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Service Technician to join our regional Service Team.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will provide technical support across Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region for marine and industrial equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on mechanical work, travelling, and working directly with customers.

Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, servicing, troubleshooting, repairs and overhauls of marine and industrial equipment.
• Carry out installations and commissioning at customer sites.
• Prepare detailed service and inspection reports after each assignment.
• Coordinate and schedule service jobs with internal teams.
• Support warehouse operations, inventory and equipment maintenance.
• Liaise professionally with customers regarding technical service requirements.
• Travel locally and overseas for service assignments when required.

Requirements

• ITE, Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or related disciplines.
• Experience in marine equipment, diesel engines, gearboxes or gensets is advantageous.
• Candidates with little or no experience are welcome to apply as structured training will be provided.
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP will be an advantage.
• Able to work independently in both marine and industrial environments.
• Possess a Singapore Class 3 Manual Driving Licence.
• Comfortable travelling overseas on short notice when required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
