Service Technician (Conveyor systems)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS), including conveyor and lifting systems.

• Communicate effectively with team members and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

• Diagnose and resolve equipment faults within agreed timelines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

• Report equipment issues and maintenance findings promptly to the immediate supervisor.

• Comply with workplace policies and procedures related to hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control.

• Actively participate in workplace health, safety, and environmental initiatives.

• Ensure all maintenance records, reports, and documentation are completed accurately and submitted on time.

• Carry out tasks and assignments as directed by the supervisor.

• Support operational reliability and system availability through effective maintenance practices.

• Participate in standby duties, overtime work, and overseas assignments when required.

Requirements

• ITE, NITEC, or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.

• Preferably 2–3 years of experience in service engineering, industrial automation, conveyor systems, plant machinery maintenance, or material handling equipment.

• Knowledge of PLC systems, particularly Siemens S7, and SCADA systems such as WinCC is an advantage.
