Service Technician (Semiconductor)

Our client is a Singapore-based engineering and technology company specialising in engineering solutions and technical services for the semiconductor and microelectronics industry. They are looking for Service Technicians to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for semiconductor equipment at client sites.

Working Hours

• 12-hour rotating shifts
• 4-day work week (Monday–Sunday)
• 8:00am – 8:00pm / 8:00pm – 8:00am

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot semiconductor equipment and applications.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues to minimise downtime.
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide timely technical solutions.
• Work closely with customers and business partners to improve equipment performance and applications.
• Act as the key liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure service requirements are met.
• Prepare reports on equipment performance, spare parts usage, and customer feedback.
• Manage spare parts inventory to ensure operational readiness.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in the semiconductor industry are preferred.
• Experience supporting semiconductor tools and equipment will be an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
