Shipping Operations Supervisor (Manufacturing only)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Shipping team to ensure all shipment activities are completed accurately and on time.

• Plan and prioritize work schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and internal operational needs.

• Oversee shipping warehouse activities, shipping stock management, and shipping documentation processes.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and established shipping procedures.

• Monitor shipping performance and maintain accurate daily and monthly operational reports.

• Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.

• Work closely with internal departments, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to resolve shipment-related issues and support smooth operations.

• Coordinate shipment arrangements and delivery schedules to ensure products reach customers as planned.

• Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and support to team members to build a high-performing shipping team.

• Conduct training, monitor staff performance, and support the professional development of team members.

• Maintain high standards of customer service by ensuring prompt communication, responsiveness, and effective follow-up.

• Be prepared to provide support outside of regular working hours when operational requirements arise.

• Take a hands-on approach and assist with warehouse activities when manpower resources are limited.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in shipping operations, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is essential.

• Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, export procedures, and coordination with freight forwarders.

• Hands-on mindset with the willingness to support operational and warehouse activities when required.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively across different functions.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
