Site Engineer

Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on and technically competent Site Engineer to support the supervision and coordination of construction works on site. The successful candidate will work closely with the Construction Manager and Senior Project Manager to ensure that project works are executed in accordance with specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Study and interpret project specifications, general requirements, and construction drawings thoroughly to ensure all site works comply with the required quality and workmanship standards

• Assist the Construction Manager and Senior Project Manager in overseeing and supervising day-to-day site activities

• Coordinate internally across departments and externally with clients and consultants to ensure alignment on project objectives and requirements

• Support project planning, documentation management, and the smooth execution of construction works on site

• Monitor and supervise the progress of site works, manage manpower mobilisation, and oversee materials planning and procurement to keep the project on track

• Liaise with contractors and suppliers on all project implementation matters, and attend site meetings and progress reviews as required

• Ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with safety regulations, site procedures, and relevant statutory requirements

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline

• Prior experience in the construction industry with relevant site supervision or coordination exposure

• Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) will be an added advantage

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, site supervision practices, and project coordination

• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents accurately

• Familiar with workplace safety procedures and requirements at construction sites

• Good coordination and communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams, clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers

• Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently

• A proactive and dependable team player who can work effectively under supervision and independently on site
