As a Software Engineer within HR Singapore, you will strive to deliver Digital Products and Services hosted on Cloud Platforms that delight customers and users. Ready to be flexible and proactive, whilst being comfortable with learning a new domain, concepts and techniques. You will be working with AGILE methodologies, where knowledge of Cloud technologies, Data Analytics, Site Reliability and DevSecOps principles will be an asset to the team.

Focusing on our Digital Products, you will be working collaboratively in an international context to ensure development and support of the solution. From UX design, clean coding, QA, deployment on cloud platform and service delivery you will be directly contributing to all aspects of defining and delivery core new products for the business.

You will enjoy having these responsibilities:

• Development, testing, validation, demonstration and operational of Software and System solutions/services, including provisioning, packaging, deployment and administration.
• Delivery of high-quality best-practice clean code via CICD Pipelines
• Management and maintenance of the platform deployments with DevSecOps approaches
• Utilization of Cloud platform to meet the project requirements with cybersecurity implications identification
• Work in an agile, cross-functional multinational team, actively engaging to support the success of the team
• To think out of the box to contribute to solving complex technical integration problems and to work collaboratively with the rest of the team to build a shared approach consensus.
• Work closely with Product Owner to defined and cost estimates feature and overall releases required for Bids.
• Collaborate with Functional Manager, developing yours and the team’s competencies.
• Contributes in co-engineering activities to ensure consistent implementation of the global strategy. 

You have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience or a Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with 3+ years of experience
• Cloud and related technologies Certifications are desirable.

Essential Skills/Experience

• Strong knowledge of virtualization and containerization, cloud hosting (eg. AZURE), clustered deployment orchestration (eg. Kubernetes), containers (eg. Docker) and Pivotal Cloud Foundry
• Strong experience with large data storage and analytics platforms (Datalake) and data manipulation tooling, e.g. Kibana, Elasicsearch/ELK, Spark, etc.
• Experience deploying tool chains for CI/CD and automated SW testing and deployment, with hands-on software design and development experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of Python, SQL, JavaScript & frameworks and similar technologies.
• Knowledgeable of the Agile, DevSecOps and SRE Process and Practices
• Strong Analytics and Data literacy skills,
• Basic network knowledge, including cloud network configuration, layer 2 and 3 network configuration
• Basic knowledge on cyber security, including static and dynamic code scanning, software and hardware hardening, network traffic control, authentication framework,
• Strong knowledge on Linux operating system and shell scripting.

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Possess understanding and previous use of common integration patterns for cloud, web services and public API Gateway deployments, (ingress web-server, web-proxy, load-balancer, firewall, databases, etc.)
• Experience railway signaling, air traffic, avionics or similar critical system domains.
• UX designed experience, specifically Data Analysis, Dashboards and Data Visualization.
