Software Engineer

The team 

Join our BIPO’s Data Science and Analytics Platform team (DSA) on an adventure to make BIPO the best HR solutions provider in the world. The role

Akin to the idea of rapid prototyping, we continuously try to achieve quick wins and improve business through AI and Automation, ultimately striving to make life easier. 

Responsibilities 

• Design, implement and maintain automated data workflows and tools to streamline data integration and processing tasks 

• Use AI tools (e.g., Claude, KIRO, Codex, etc) to develop solutions, including the generation, reviewing and testing of scripts and code in languages such as Python, C#.NET, Typescript, etc 

• Design, provision and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (including compute, storage, networking and managed services) to support the reliability, security and performance of internally built systems, tools and data workflows 

• Engage internal clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored AI-driven technical solutions 

• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and innovation. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify repetitive tasks that can be standardised and automated as part of building an AI-First SOP engine within the organisation 

• Support Proof-of-Concept (PoC) initiatives and transition successful pilots into production 

Qualifications 

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or the equivalent 

• 1-3 years of working experience in application development 

• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with applied experience in OOP and refactoring 

• Knowledge and deep interest in LLMs, AI Agents, MCP Servers, etc 

• Strong in problem solving and interpersonal skills 

• Experience with following is a plus:  

• Working with relational, distributed, and NoSQL databases (e.g. MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) 

• Deploying and managing solutions on cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, etc.) 

• Developing and securing web applications and APIs, including architectural design 

• Programming and scripting in various languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, C#.NET, etc
