Staff Test Engineer

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Installation, capability upgrade, troubleshoot, repair and perform annual calibration for Qorvo organic tester related custom H/W in test Lab and OSATs
• Simple defect pattern analysis and test data summary & reports
• Regular diagnostic bench setup, maintenance, PM
• Build & standardize engineering process flow and document system
• Support NPI team to ensure progress in schedule and commitment to production date deadline
• Assist asset and inventory monitor and control for test equipment, H/W and components for both Lab and OSATs
• Coordinate and collaborate cross functional teams of OSATs for engineering activities to meet Qorvo requirement
• Drive and formalize DMAIC as department’s fundamental problem-solving approach
• Establish, manage and motivate over continuous improvements in safety, tool availability, cycle time, utilization and cost for both Test Lab and OSATs
• Develop training/coach plan to individuals for continuous professional level enhancement
• Understand and abide by the contents of ISO9000 and ISO14001, and also put forward amendment scheme in own responsible department, supervise the executing condition of the underling

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or above, Electrical Engineering or related majors
• Semiconductor manufacturing engineering background and experience
• Knowledge of RF components, RF test system and equipment like signal generator, spectrum analyser and network analyser
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English or Chinese
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Effective PCB assembly and welding skills

Highly Desirable (Differentiators):

• More than 5 years working experience in electronic & engineering industry with some experience of managing or supervising subordinates
• More than 5 years working experience in ATE or RF Test bench setup & maintenance
• Good team player, excellent presentation and logical thinking skill
