Store Supervisor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Supervision:

Supervise and lead the store team to ensure effective management of incoming and outgoing materials and tools.

Inventory Management & Control:

Manage and maintain precise stock levels of engineering materials, components, and tools.

Ensure proper storage, identification, and handling of materials to maintain their integrity and prevent damage, loss, or contamination based on ISO13485 requirements.

Perform regular stock checks and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

Oversee the ordering process for materials and tools, ensuring timely delivery to meet production requirements.

Store Operations & Maintenance:

Ensure the store is well-organized, clean, and maintained in accordance with health and safety standards.

Supply Chain Coordination:

Collaborate closely with the purchasing and production departments to prioritize material requirements and delivery schedules.

Assist in coordinating material transfers to and from the store to production or 3PL.

Ensure materials are delivered and distributed to the correct departments or teams in a timely manner.

Track material usage and consumption patterns to support forecasting and reordering decisions.

Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of stock movements, raw materials & packing materials used, as part of traceability compliance for Biomedical industry.

Assist in the analysis of stock usage trends, identifying potential issues with supply levels and recommending solutions.

Keep records of damaged, outdated, or obsolete materials and ensure they are properly disposed of or returned to suppliers.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Proven experience as a supervisor in managing Store and inventory.

Strong organisation skills and inventory management.

Familiarity with manufacturing environment would be a plus.

Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and specifications is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
