Technical Engineer (R&D)

We are seeking a motivated Technical Engineer with a background in the architecture or construction industry to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing, improving, and testing our architectural window, door, and façade systems, with a strong focus on aluminium materials and hardware compatibility.

This is an exciting opportunity that bridges technical product design with cross-functional collaboration and sales support, making it ideal for an engineer who enjoys both technical drawing and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Design & Development: Design, refine, and test new architectural profiles, components, and systems for windows, doors, and façade applications.
• Drafting & Documentation: Prepare precise technical shop drawings using AutoCAD and maintain comprehensive technical catalogues for new systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise closely with the sales team, clients, and manufacturing departments to ensure design feasibility and smooth project execution.
• Sales Support: Provide robust pre- and post-sales technical support to customers, prepare accurate quotations, and actively follow up on sales opportunities.
• Market Awareness: Stay up to date with the latest market trends, industry developments, and innovations in product design and materials.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the Architectural or Construction industry, with a strong preference for experience handling aluminium systems.
• Technical Skills: High proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Soft Skills: Highly motivated individual with the initiative to drive tasks to completion.
• Results-oriented with a proactive, positive working attitude.

• Ability to work independently without much supervision

• Location: Must be willing to work in the Pioneer area.
