Technical Sales Engineer

• Position : Technical Sales Engineer
• Location : Tagore
• Working hours : Monday to Friday - 8.00AM to 5.00PM
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4,500 + Attractive Incentives & Remuneration
• Duration : Permanent
• Industry : Industrial equipment supplier

Responsibilities:

• Support the sales team in reviewing technical enquiries and understanding client requirements/URS.
• Participate in and lead technical clarification meetings with clients.
• Provide process design, technical and application support, including process flow diagrams/flowsheets.
• Prepare costing, quotations, scope of supply, and technical specifications based on client requirements and budget.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients.
• Liaise with factories, suppliers, or overseas counterparts to obtain quotations and technical inputs.
• Work with draughtsman/design team on process flow diagrams, flowsheets, and layout drawings.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in powder processing systems/equipment or engineering sales will be an advantage.
• No experience welcome too, training will be provided.
• Self-motivated, independent, and able to work in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Good team player with the ability to work independently.
• Willing to travel occasionally.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only.
