Technical Service Engineer - Electroplating

• Work Location: Joo Koon

• Working hours: Mondays to Fridays 9AM - 5.45PM

• Well-Established Engineering Company

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and customer support for Process Chemistry and Equipment applications related to metal finishing, electroplating, and semiconductor strip, etch, and clean products within the Product Application Lab

• Develop a strong understanding of the company’s product range and support customers in achieving optimal application performance

• Conduct laboratory experiments and process evaluations to demonstrate product capabilities to customers

• Operate analytical equipment such as SEM-EDX, GC-MS, ICP-MS, Liquid Particle Counter, Karl Fischer, and XRF under the guidance of the Technical Director

• Support qualification, installation, and start-up activities for chemical and equipment systems at customer sites

• Investigate customer quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and work with internal teams to implement corrective actions

• Deliver technical presentations and training sessions for customers and internal stakeholders

• Maintain technical documentation including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Technical Data Sheets (TDS)

• Troubleshoot process parameters and provide recommendations to optimize process performance

• Support Account Managers with technical advice for commercial proposals and customer discussions

• Maintain accurate and organized records for service activities and site visits

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering

• 2 to 5 Years of experience in surface treatments for the Electronics or Semiconductor Industries

• Willing to travel regularly within the region (1–2 times per month), including Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia.
