Job Summary

The team is responsible for validating system design robustness and reliability across a diverse portfolio within the print business, including Home, Office, Large Format Design, and Large Format Production product segments. This provides excellent exposure to multiple technologies, market segments, and career development opportunities.

The SIE team is looking for Technical Specialists to support product development activities by conducting system-level testing in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct system interaction testing for new product programs under the guidance of experienced engineers to ensure high customer satisfaction and product quality.

• Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define test requirements and testing scope.

• Support logistics and resource planning activities to meet program timelines and schedules.

• Perform first-level troubleshooting for technical issues encountered during testing and suggest possible solutions or workarounds.

• Compile, document, and report test results to program leads and engineering teams.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant technical qualification.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with relevant hands-on experience will have an added advantage.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, inspectors, and cross-functional teams.

Relevant Knowledge & Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Basic project coordination and organizational skills.

• Basic knowledge of HP TIJ and ink supply systems is an advantage.

• Comfortable with setting up PCs and mobile operating systems and integrating them with test hardware, software, and drivers.

• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C++, C#, or Visual Basic is an added advantage.

• Familiarity with Oracle Database queries, ODBC, MS Query/SQL, etc.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, JMP, and CREO is preferred.
