Technical Support Engineer (Healthcare / Microscopy)

Responsibilities:

• Support sales with equipment installation, system setup, demos, and user training (hardware/software).
• Provide after-sales and technical support in Singapore and select ASEAN countries.
• Apply technical expertise to troubleshoot and tailor solutions for customer research and operational needs.
• Assist in product launches, workshops, seminars, and marketing events, including preparing demo materials.
• Handle biological samples for demos, evaluations, and training.
• Work closely with sales, service, and regional teams to ensure satisfaction and project success.
• Maintain documentation, training logs, and feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Degree in Science or Engineering (e.g., Life Sciences, Biotech, Biomedical, Physics, Optics, or related).
• Strong technical aptitude, must master complex optical microscopy systems (imaging principles, alignment, fluorescence/laser concepts, advanced troubleshooting).
• Ready for a steep learning curve and committed to ongoing self-directed learning.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Organised, self-motivated, reliable, resourceful, and a strong problem-solver.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers and internal stakeholders.
