Technical Support Engineer (HVAC/Precision Cooling - Data Center Project)

About the Role

We are partnering with a global leader in climate and HVAC solutions, to hire a Technical Support Engineer specializing in precision cooling systems for data center environments.

This role serves as the key technical interface supporting both pre-sales design engineering and post-sales technical execution, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction across mission-critical infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with sales teams, consultants, contractors, and end-users in supporting hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data center projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Technical Support

• Provide HVAC / precision cooling system design support for data center projects
• Assist sales teams with technical proposals, sizing, selection, and configuration of cooling solutions
• Review project specifications, tender documents, and customer requirements
• Conduct technical presentations and clarify design concepts to consultants and customers
• Support energy efficiency optimization and system performance recommendations

Post-Sales / Project Execution Support

• Act as technical liaison during project execution, installation, testing, and commissioning
• Support contractors and consultants on-site or remotely for troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Coordinate with factory, product engineering, and regional technical teams
• Ensure system performance aligns with design intent and data center reliability standards
• Provide root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action support for technical issues

Data Center Application Focus

• Support mission-critical cooling environments including hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centers
• Ensure compliance with uptime requirements, redundancy design, and thermal performance standards
• Understand airflow management, CRAH/CRAC systems, chilled water systems, and precision cooling architecture

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
• 3–6 years of experience in HVAC, precision cooling, or data center infrastructure
• Strong understanding of chilled water systems, CRAC/CRAH units, or precision cooling equipment
• Experience in pre-sales engineering, technical support, or project execution roles
• Familiarity with data center cooling principles (ASHRAE standards preferred)
• Strong communication skills to engage consultants, contractors, and end-users
• Ability to travel regionally when required
