Technician (Investigation & Maintenance)

Key responsibilities

• Attend to reported gas incidents and gas supply abnormalities such as gas fires, poor gas supply pressure, suspected gas leaks, etc.

• Perform site investigations and rectification work, coordinating with relevant authorities (e.g. SPPG, SCDF, HDB, EMA) and other external agencies and submission of reports.

• Respond to customer service requests including installing/ replacing/ troubleshooting gas appliances, servicing of gas stoves, conducting soundness tests on gas installations, etc.

• Handle customers' enquiries/ feedback and manage service recoveries.

• Prepare gas incident reports.

• Undertake any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  

About you

• Higher Nitec / Nitec in Mechanical or any Engineering discipline.

• Certificate in Plumbing and Pipefitting is preferred.

• Relevant experience in gas, plumbing, sanitary or electrical systems will be an advantage.

• Able to work independently and in a team.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license (access to own transport is preferred).
  

Work-day: 4 days' work week
