Technician (Precision Mold Tooling Assembly & Debug) - North

Our client is a well-established precision engineering and advanced manufacturing company specializing in high-precision tooling solutions for the semiconductor and electronics industries. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Precision Tooling Assembly & Debug Technician to join their team. They are located in the North – easily accessible.

1 Year Renewable Contract

Working time: 5 Days | Mon - Fri 8am-5.30pm (10am / 3pm - 15mins break, 12.15pm-1pm lunch)

Salary range : $2,800 max + OT (10-15hrs weekly) + Contract Bonus (1-2months after completed 1 yr)

Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly, fitting, and debugging of precision tooling according to engineering specifications and quality requirements.

• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for tooling and manufacturing-related issues.

• Carry out tooling adjustments, modifications, and optimization activities to achieve required performance and dimensional accuracy.

• Inspect and verify tooling quality using precision measuring instruments and technical drawings.

• Interpret engineering drawings, assembly schematics, and critical dimensional requirements during assembly processes.

• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support product qualification and process improvement initiatives.

• Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, inspection results, and tooling modifications.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements, operational procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma, NTC, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in precision mold, tooling assembly, semiconductor encapsulation, or related precision engineering environments.

• Experience handling and assembling small precision machine components with strong attention to dimensional accuracy and detail.

• Able to read and interpret 2D/3D technical drawings, assembly schematics, and perform tooling verification using precision measurement instruments.
