Test Engineer Technician III

Job Overview

An opportunity is available for a Test Engineer Technician III to support manufacturing test operations. The role involves test setup, system configuration, troubleshooting, and production support to ensure efficient and reliable testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform test setup and system configuration.

• Interpret Test Process Instructions (TPI) and support production testing.

• Train and guide production operators on test procedures.

• Create and maintain server Golden Images (GI).

• Configure rack test templates based on BOM and Engineering Instructions (EI).

• Maintain test databases and hardware configuration records.

• Troubleshoot test-related issues and perform basic root cause analysis.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.

• Maintain training records and support audit requirements.

• Provide guidance to junior technicians when required.

Requirements

• Diploma/Associate Degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 2–4 years of experience in a testing or manufacturing environment.

• Candidates with at least 4 years of relevant experience without the above qualification are also encouraged to apply.

• Experience in server, rack, or hardware testing is an advantage.

Skills

• Basic knowledge of Linux and DOS.

• Computer hardware and basic network troubleshooting.

• Basic understanding of electrical concepts.

• Ability to read and understand Python or similar scripting languages.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
