TRUCK MECHANIC

Job Summary

You will maintain and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks by identifying mechanical defects, performing engine overhauls, troubleshooting, and inspecting braking and air-conditioning systems to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.

Responsibilities

• Identify and repair mechanical defects in heavy-duty diesel trucks to maintain operational safety and performance
• Perform engine overhauls and troubleshoot mechanical issues to restore truck functionality
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure truck reliability and reduce breakdowns
• Overhaul mechanical components and air-conditioning systems to maintain vehicle condition
• Inspect braking systems thoroughly and perform necessary rectifications to ensure safety compliance
• Execute additional duties assigned by management to support maintenance operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Higher Nitec or Nitec in Automotive
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar industry
