Required a CAAS certified Drone Pilot (UAV Pilot) operates Unmanned Aircraft (UA) safely for commercial and industrial inspection purposes. Responsibilities span flight operations, securing necessary regulatory permits, maintaining equipment airworthiness, and processing collected aerial data.
Key Responsibilities
• Flight Operations: Plan and conduct pre-flight checks, site risk assessments, and actual drone flights for mapping, videography, or building inspections.
• Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and submit necessary documentation to obtain CAAS Operator Permits and Activity Permits for specific flight zones.
• Data Processing: Analyze raw captured data (images, thermal readings, or LiDAR) and process them using specialized GIS or photogrammetry software.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the airworthiness of UAV fleets, including firmware updates, battery management, and minor repairs.
• Client/Team Coordination: Coordinate with clients, visual observers, and senior inspectors to achieve mission objectives
Requirements and Qualifications
• Certification: Mandatory possession of a valid Unmanned Aircraft Pilot License (UAPL) issued by CAAS.
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, Geomatics, or related technical disciplines preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in piloting multi-rotor platforms (such as DJI enterprise drones) and familiarity with flight control/mission planning software.
• Physical & Situational Attributes: Excellent eye-hand coordination, situational awareness, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain conditions.
