Urgent hiring: Marine Operations Manager (Bunkering)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee daily bunkering operations, including vessel scheduling, cargo handling, bunker deliveries, and Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfer activities.

• Support the implementation of digitalization and technology initiatives to improve operational performance and safety.

• Develop and implement training programs to strengthen technical competency and operational knowledge.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, including Cargo Officers and other operational personnel.

• Liaise with terminals, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders to coordinate loading activities and ensure compliance with operational requirements.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and service quality.

• Review and enhance operational procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including SS648 and QMBS requirements.

• Collaborate closely with the ship management team to ensure all operational staff comply with onboard safety policies and regulations.

• Plan and coordinate the company's fleet of bunker vessels to ensure smooth loading and delivery operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5–7 years of Operations Management experience, preferably within the maritime or bunkering industry.

• At least 5 years of hands-on technical experience in bunkering operations is essential.

• Strong understanding of marine operations, bunker loading, cargo handling, and Ship-to-Ship (STS) operations.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities.

• Knowledge of maritime regulations and industry standards, including SS648 and QMBS, will be an advantage.

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop operational teams.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
