🔧 About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Vacuum Piping Engineer / Site Lead to take ownership of on-site vacuum piping (pumping line) works for semiconductor fabrication facilities.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role, ideal for professionals with deep fab experience who can lead site execution while coordinating closely with major semiconductor partners such as UMC, VSMC and Micron.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee on-site vacuum piping (pumping line) installation and hook-up works
• Direct, coordinate, and supervise work crews to ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance
• Conduct site measurements, surveys, and routing planning based on drawings and site conditions
• Ensure installations comply with semiconductor fab standards and client specifications
• Source vacuum piping materials and components locally in Singapore
• Coordinate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities as required

Requirements

• Proven experience in vacuum piping systems for semiconductor fabrication facilities
• Familiarity with fab environments and standards at UMC, VSMC, and/or Micron
• Strong site leadership experience managing and directing work crews
• Ability to read technical drawings, perform on-site measurements, and adapt routing as needed
• Solid knowledge of local sourcing for vacuum piping materials and components
• Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced fab construction environment
