Job Description - WELDER/CARPENTER/BLASTER

Assembling and fabricating structures made of metal.
Reading blueprints and drawings.
Taking and reading measurements.
Following specifications and instructions for maximum efficiency.
Welding components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
Repairing machinery.
Planning layouts and procedures.
Determining appropriate welding equipment or machinery to be used.
Setting up components for welding.
Conducting tests on welded parts to verify weld quality and conformance to specifications.
Working with wood to build and repair structures and other items.
Selecting and sourcing appropriate materials.
Calculating quotes and meeting with clients.
Creating design plans for remodeling projects
Able to work alternate sundays whenenver is needed
Must Possess Safety instruction course (manhole) for supervisors
Must Possess Work-at-height course for supervisors
Must Possess Shipyard supervisors safety course
