Welding and Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welding and Maintenance Technician to join our marine operations team in Singapore. This is a stay-onboard position where you will live and work on vessels within Singapore waters. You will be responsible for structural fabrication, equipment modification, and emergency repair works to ensure optimal vessel maintenance.

· Onboard vessel within Singapore waters. (Stay-onboard required)

·      6working days (8am to 5pm). Overtime required based on operational and project needs.

· Food and accommodation provided.

KeyResponsibilities

·       Carry out fabrication, fitting, cutting, and welding works.

·       Fabricate and assemble steel frames, brackets, and machine parts.

·       Use welding machines, oxy acetylene gas cutters.

·       Repair, modify, and maintain equipment as required.

Requirements

·       Min 2 years of experience in Fabrication and Welding work.

·       Preferably processes 6Gwelding certification.

·       Able to read measurements and fabricate parts accurately.

·       Experience in MIG, TIG, Stick, or FCAW welding.

·       Familiar with oxy acetylene gas cutters, soft soldering, silver brazing, etc.

·       Experience fabricating steel structures, frames, or machine components.
