WET Manager (DIFFUSION)

We are seeking a manager to lead the Diffusion (Wet) Department team, driving equipment optimization, manufacturing performance, and continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence in semiconductor wafer fabrication.

What you will be working on:

• Lead and manage a team of Senior Engineers, Engineers, and Associate Engineers to optimize equipment capability and utilization to meet module goals
• Develop and implement plans and strategies to exceed manufacturing performance indices
• Set targets and projects to minimize wafer scrap, reduce equipment cost per wafer, and optimize equipment capability for operational needs
• Collaborate with TSMC and NXP to benchmark and enhance equipment performance and reliability
• Plan, track, and measure equipment capacity to ensure operational efficiency
• Forecast and manage budgets for equipment maintenance and related expenditures
• Establish and optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans to balance quality and cost-effectiveness
• Liaise with vendors to resolve equipment issues and enhance equipment performance
• Manage equipment improvement processes to achieve high Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives through QIT programs to optimize equipment utilization and maintenance costs
• Conduct performance appraisals and develop career paths for team members
• Provide training and guidance to Engineers and Associate Engineers to maximize performance effectiveness
• Facilitate regular feedback and communication sessions to improve work processes and maintain team morale

More about you:

• PhD, MSc, or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or Physics
• 6 to 10 years of relevant wafer fabrication experience, including at least 3 years in equipment or development roles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated through team leadership and collaboration
• Proven leadership qualities and ability to foster teamwork
• Analytical and problem-solving skills applied to equipment and process optimization
