Job Summary

Develop and implement strategic plans to improve production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness while ensuring safety and compliance. Lead and motivate production teams, manage resources, and maintain strong communication with management and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness aligned with business objectives
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety standards to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
  • Implement and monitor quality control processes to promptly detect and correct defects
  • Analyze weekly quality findings, lead investigations, and guide the team to implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Monitor employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and resolve personnel issues effectively
  • Lead, motivate, and develop production staff to achieve operational goals and foster a collaborative work environment
  • Maintain accurate production records, including employee attendance, machine downtime, material usage, and completed work
  • Review daily checklists and manufacturing records from technicians, verifying accuracy against MOS specifications and machine tolerances
  • Execute production activities according to the master plan to meet operational targets
  • Control production variable costs and expenses to optimize budget adherence
  • Ensure plant-wide safety, productivity, good housekeeping, and serviceability of all production machines and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand and address their requirements
  • Plan production processes to meet customer specifications and timelines
  • Order raw materials based on customer requirements to maintain production flow
  • Develop master and budget plans for the Machine Tools Department to align production activities with business objectives
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management

Required competencies and certifications

  • Experience in oil & gas industry (Mandatory)
  • Knowledge of programme and threading including IF connections (Mandatory)
