Audio Engineer

Audio Engineer Responsibilities:

• Understanding briefs and selecting the appropriate sound and mixing equipment for the project.
• Coordinating with other staff members to ensure deadlines are met and projects are completed to specifications.
• Editing, mixing, and manipulating recorded and live sound.
• Setting up equipment safely and on time.
• Designing audio systems and advising on equipment purchases.
• Testing and troubleshooting equipment regularly, and replacing any faulty components.
• Fixing and enhancing sound at live shooting.

Audio Engineer Requirements:

• Associate's Diploma in a related field
• Certificate in Audio Technology or similar recommended.
• Practical experience with sound equipment.
• Firm understanding of audio design principles and processing techniques
• Working knowledge of a Digital Audio Workstation such as Reaper or Pro Tools
• Creative and inventive with the use source material
• Experience in creating magical, combat, vocal, and environmental sound effects
• Superb ear for sound.
• Ability to work under pressure and stay calm when things go wrong.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experienced in recording and creating sound effect with food-related programs
