Automation Solutions Lead

Your new company
Our client is key player in the FMCG logistics sector in Singapore, providing comprehensive supply chain solutions including e-commerce, warehousing, distribution, and cold chain solutions. They are undergoing expansion in recent years and are now looking to expand their headcount with an Automation Solutions Lead.

Your new role
A few of your responsibilities would be;

· Formulate a comprehensive strategy for warehouse automation that aligns with Supply Chain objectives.

· Identify, assess, and select suitable automation technologies that enhance operations and fit within the budget.

· Direct and oversee the deployment of automation solutions across multiple warehouses.

· Ensure all automation solutions adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

· Establish metrics and KPIs to gauge the performance of automated systems, continuously monitor operations, and implement improvements as needed.

· Develop training initiatives for warehouse staff to adapt to new automation systems and processes.

What you'll need to succeed

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 years working with warehouse automation technologies such as automated storage systems, Warehouse Management System, and IoT devices.

· Understanding of training methodologies to facilitate the adoption of new automation technologies among warehouse staffs.

· Proficiency in budgeting, cost analysis, and Return on Investment (ROI) calculations related to automation investments.

· Ability to align warehouse automation initiatives with long-term business objectives and anticipate future needs and trends.

· Familiarity with vendor selection processes, contract negotiations, and vendor relationship management.
