CNC Manufacturing Engineer(Oil&Gas)

Responsibilities:

Evaluate intricate machine drawings for manufacturing purposes.

Propose and implement tooling and fixtures to machine complex features.

Support the Manufacturing team in qualifying new products and ensuring optimized and competitive manufacturing hours.Possess extensive knowledge of the CNC machining process, with the ability to design fixtures or select the best tooling for achieving efficient and competitive machining capabilities.

Collaborate with the Procurement team to develop strategic subcontract machining suppliers.

Identify and cultivate new machining vendors that are relevant and meet the company's standards for approval.

Provide technical guidance and ensure suppliers pass initial article approvals.

Participate in daily Material Review Board (MRB) meetings, offering technical input for jobs when non-conformance issues arise.

Continuously seek opportunities for cost savings and new customer development projects.

Take the initiative to lead and drive continuous improvement projects.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Possess a minimum of a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with at least 5+ years of relevant experience.

Demonstrate a strong background in a CNC machine shop environment.

Preferably have exposure to machining complex parts for oil and gas equipment.

Possess good mechanical and technical skills.

Have a solid understanding of ANSI, ASME standards, and API product requirements.

Proficient in design and programming software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, and MasterCam, etc.

Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work well in a team, exhibit energy, and be willing to work hard.

Possess self-motivation, a positive attitude, and a desire for career growth.

Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
