Responsibilities
• Read technical drawings and set up machines according to blueprints • Use computer software to program machines and model cutting paths • Ensure machines are set to meet customer drawing, tolerance, and dimensions • Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications • Optimize production while maintaining quality by adjusting cutting paths or settings • Choose and load correct tools for cutting materials • Troubleshoot and resolve machine problems • Perform basic machine maintenance • Provide guidance to operators on CNC machine operation and program usage • Manage NPI (New Product Introduction) and RFQ (Request for Quote)
Requirements
• Ability to read technical drawings • Experience with computer software for modeling cutting paths and programming machines • Knowledge of quality assurance testing • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Basic machine maintenance knowledge • Strong communication and guidance skills • Experience in managing NPI and RFQ processes
