Job summary
The Contract Manufacturing Manager plays a pivotal role in orchestrating and optimizing our contract manufacturing partnerships. Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end contract manufacturing process. Plays an integral role in cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
• Identify, evaluate, and select co-manufacturers based on their capabilities, capacity, and alignment with quality standards and values. • Negotiate contracts and agreements with co-manufacturers, outlining terms, expectations, pricing structures, and quality standards. • Collaborate with the demand planning team to develop production schedules that meet inventory and delivery requirements. • Establish and enforce quality control processes to ensure products meet quality standards. Conduct regular quality audits. • Monitor production costs and work with co-manufacturers to optimize costs while maintaining quality. • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with co-manufacturers, acting as the primary point of contact. Address any issues or concerns promptly. • Implement KPIs and metrics to assess the performance of co-manufacturers, regularly reviewing their performance and taking corrective actions as necessary. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within co-manufacturing operations. • Ensure co-manufacturers adhere to regulatory and safety requirements, and meet all legal and ethical standards.
Requirements
• Tertiary qualifications in supply chain management, engineering or a related field. • At least 5 years of experience in a similar external contract manufacturing development/management. • Strong negotiation and contract management skills. • Excellent project management and organizational abilities. • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions. • Willingness to travel as needed to visit co-manufacturing partners.
