• Position : Estimating Engineer (Aerospace) - Up to $4,000 - Seletar
• Location : Seletar
• Working hours : 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday: 8.30AM to 6.00PM
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,000 + AWS + Performance Bonus + 14 Days AL
• Duration : Permanent

Responsibilities:

• To create comprehensive, effective, efficient, and viable manufacturing planning cards (job cards) on an MRP/ERP system based on given mechanical drawings, specifications, instructions, and prevalent internal standards.
• To create comprehensive and viable cost estimates based on given mechanical drawings, specifications, instructions, and prevalent internal standards.
• To manage and ensure the efficient throughput of assigned jobs based on given targets.
• Any other ad-hoc duties required

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience in the fields of engineering, manufacturing and repair of aircraft maintenance tooling, aircraft ground support equipment, assembly jigs and fixtures, machinery and equipment installation, or other
• mechanical works of a similar nature.
• Sound working knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, ferrous & non-ferrous materials including polymers and elastomers, surface treatments, heat treatments and various testing.
• Competent in the production of manufacturing planning cards (job cards) on a MRP/ERP system.
• Practical planning experience with Redthorn MRP software will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Bilingual in English & Mandarin to liaise with chinese associates who can only speak mandarin
