Field Services Engineer (CNC Machines/ Cutting tools)

Job Scope:

Repair

• Independently analyze errors and faults.
• Identify required spare parts, coordinate and arrange orders with customers.
• Perform repairs, including mechanics, electronics, hydraulics, control technology, and pneumatics.
• Collaborate with experts from the same field and Regional Service Center to determine solutions.
• Document service missions and activities.

Installation/Commissioning

• Prepare installations in collaboration with customers.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical installation of equipment.
• Conduct commissioning of installations.
• Provide on-site operator training.

Preventive Maintenance

• Perform preventive maintenance based on service schedules.
• Advise customers on necessary repair work, if required, coordinate spare parts with customers and place orders.
• Document maintenance work carried out.

Additional Responsibilities

• Handle relocation and retrofitting tasks.
• Perform service updates and data protections.

Job Requirements

• Possess a professional engineering qualification in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical Engineering, such as a Bachelor's Degree or Polytechnic Diploma, or equivalent.
• Have working experience in repairing, commissioning, and installing CNC Sheet Metal Punching/Laser cutting machines.
• Hold 1-4 years of relevant experience.
• Display customer focus, effective communication skills, and the ability to persuade customers.
• Adapt flexibly to different situations and changing work conditions.
• Exhibit analytical thinking and the ability to anticipate and resolve problems.
• Collaborate, share information and knowledge, and provide support to colleagues
