Mechanical & Assembly Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Review Jigs and fixtures designs for new projects in collaboration with production team members.
• Develop and assess Design for Assembly for new projects.
• Provide official drawings/data (for new mechanical parts) to vendors for First Article data and sample submission for approval.
• Ensure tracking of approval status for new mechanical parts/modifications from drawing issuance until full approval.
• Assist production line during trial run phase.
• Collaborate with Quality Department to address quality concerns.
• Perform other pertinent tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• With 3 years of experience in Mechanical or similar industry.
• Proven experience in Design for Assembly, Mechanical Part Approval procedures.
• Proficiency with Excel, Powerpoint, 2D, or 3D CAD.
