MECHANICAL ENGINEER

· Attend Mechanical meeting to report day to day activities, scheduled maintenance work,

· Conduct daily and weekly safety and progress meetings.

· Maintain Plant wide equipment track records (pumps, motors, gear box, shafts, valves).

· Beware of call up for break down job, contingency meeting with maintenance engineer.

· Compliance to the in-house HSSE standards and requirements to ensure a safe place to work, and accountable for all assigned Critical activities.

· Work in confined space (Tanks, reactors, Drums) shaft, propeller, Mixtures alignment)

· Provides day-to-day hands-on repair of rotating equipment and drive high standard performance and accountability to deliver the site and department’s goals and target within the deadline.

· Good documentation of all equipment technical records and update SAP to reflect the latest changes.

· Execute improvements plans to minimise or eliminate inefficiency and ineffectiveness in workshop execution and implement technical solutions, including troubleshooting to resolve these problems.

· Prepare job specifications and costing for works involved and apply work permit for work execution.

· Support engineers to resolve equipment issues and update maintenance information, records and drawings are entering in the in-house system.

· Attend standby callout to the Emergency work upon request.

· Support operation for smooth production, trouble shoot and maintaining of high priority equipment’s like Centrifuge, decanter, chiller and shredder.

· Coordinate and supervise scheduled, breakdown and TA work executions by contractors including maintenance executed projects and modifications.

· Compliance with all safety measures, quality and maintenance procedures, including related technical specifications.

· Timely reporting of maintenance activities updates, and manage work order in SAP (PM closing, PR rise, SES, manpower hours and purchasing etc)

Job requirement:

· Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is required.

· 20 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on construction projects.

· Relevant experience in mechanical building services engineering design, including specifications writing and calculations.

· Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.

· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

· Make reference to regulations, industry standards and good practice in engineering design.
