Principal Mechanical Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

About Our Client:

• An equipment manufacturer striving to offer cutting-edge products and inventive solutions to the sophisticated semiconductor assembly and packaging sector.
• Working Hour: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 6.00pm
• Location: North Coast
• Salary Package: Up to $9,000 basic
  

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, produce, and install components to meet specified requirements.
• Manage the entire product development process, including design, testing, manufacturing, and deployment.
• Identify and address issues or deficiencies in products through analysis and resolution.
• Conduct experiments and assessments to improve product designs.
• Use CAD technology for creating plans and designs.
• Assess the overall performance, reliability, and safety of finished products.
• Estimate project budgets and timelines accurately.
• Create technical documentation for machine operators.
• Ensure that products meet regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and fellow engineers.
• Coordinate with vendors to finalize modules.
• Handle mechanical documentation responsibilities effectively.
  

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics) required.
• Experience in mechanical engineering field essential.
• Proficiency in CAD, CAM, and Matlab/LabView programs required.
• Ability to conduct simulations and analyze test data.
• Strong aptitude for writing clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Minimum of 7 years of technical experience in Semiconductor environment preferred; other industrial experience with equipment knowledge welcome.
• Experience in troubleshooting PC-based fully automatic equipment in semiconductor and other industrial settings.
• Good understanding of equipment control and troubleshooting methods.
• Knowledge in die bonder application and process advantageous.
