Production Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

• To ensure the achievement of production targets according to schedule.
• To organise machine set-up and loading according to schedules
• To maintain In-process quality check of parts for production.
• To control all non-conforming products and ensure rapid actions to correct deficiencies and to reduce scrap
• To organise and implement solutions to prevent re-occurrence of product nonconformity
• To supervise the subordinates and assign duties to them daily. To ensure smooth work flow and optimize the use of machines and accessories to increase production
• To maintain daily production records and report any changes of processes
• To check and ensure correct issuance of materials issued from store
• To train technicians, trainee technician and production operators in acquiring the necessary skills for production work
• To check production area for potential hazards and ensure safety regulations are being enforced
• To liaise with the production planner on production planning and scheduling
• To maintain adequate house-keeping standards in the department
• To assist in the necessary administrative functions where required eg. approval of subordinates’ leaves, purchase requisitions, daily exception reports
• Other duties as and when assigned by Superior

Qualifications:

• Higher NITEC or equivalent
• A least 5 years of relevant working experiences
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and PC skills
• Must be organized, detailed and driven about the work
• Demonstrate independence and ability to work well in a team
• Candidates with strong desire to take his/her career to the next level
