Production Technician - Tuas Area

• 12-hour shifts (7:30 am to 7:30 pm / 7.30 pm - 7.30 am) according to the scheduled 4-day shift pattern.

The client is a leading integrated chemical toll-blending provider that offers comprehensive solutions and services for production chain management.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the inflow and outflow of chemicals for production, including weighing, inspections, and verifying labels.
• Carry out production tasks as per batch cards or instructions. Handle hazardous chemicals with utmost care following rigorous safety protocols.
• Operate pumps and hoses for chemical production and blending.
• Take samples and clean tanks after each production cycle.
• Oversee all aspects of chemical mixing and packaging operations.
• Ensure compliance with packaging standards and complete product filling.
• Perform manual blending tasks, including lifting bags weighing up to 25kg.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
• Learn proper palletizing techniques as required.
• Assist the Production Controller in processing industrial chemicals.
• Wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) as mandated.

Requirements:

• Minimum secondary education level required, Nitec for those without experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field; candidates with relevant education and no experience are encouraged to apply.
• Positive attitude, accountability, and a desire to learn are crucial attributes.
• Readiness to work 12-hour shifts (7:30 am to 7:30 pm / 7:30 pm to 7:30 am) as per the scheduled 4-day shift pattern.
