Project Sales Engineer (Energy/ Power Generation, Data Center) #HCG

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops designs, drawings, and documents to meet customer technical requirements, including conducting calculations, verifying equipment/supplier suitability, and defining technical specifications and scope of supply for equipment.
• Provides technical specifications and scope of supply to suppliers/contractors for quotation, subsequently coordinating with factory and local suppliers to determine scope of supply and total project cost calculation.
• Coordinates responses to technical inquiries in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
• Initiates purchase requisitions for scope of supply and oversees order management with internal departments, suppliers, and contractors until all contractual requirements are met.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to provide technical assistance and clarification on orders, sales engineering, and associated documents, occasionally requiring international business travel.
• Utilizes computerized engineering tools, databases, technical libraries, and factory standards for sales engineering tasks, maintaining and updating product and sales engineering information.
• Prepares and conducts technical presentations and training sessions as needed.
• Stays updated on technical developments in the market and internal products, particularly focusing on international and country-specific technical standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), Business, or IT.
• Possesses a minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in capital equipment/ turnkey solution sales or technical commercial roles, preferably in industries such as Data Centers, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Building.
• Exhibits strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally and internationally as required
