Purchasing Executive Logistics Coordinator (Tuas)

• Working hours: 8.30am – 5.15pm
• 5 days’ work week (Monday to Friday)
• SAP / ERP

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform materials planning and purchasing to fulfil sales needs
• Request and source quotation from vendor for each inquiry and negotiate with pricing
• Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers for parts needed based on company’s agreed inventory stocking policy
• Monitor / review inventory stocking policy to ensure good balance between assurances of supply with minimal inventory holding
• Issue COO (Certificate of Origin) and COQ (Certificate of Quantity & Quality
• Liaise, arrange and monitor shipments with forwarder
• Monitor delivery with local and overseas suppliers
• Prepare documents such as import product checklist, import shipment checklist and etc for warehouse checking purposes
• Contact and liaise with suppliers to resolve the shortage, damaged good
• Shipment coordination with forwarders and suppliers
• Negotiate with suppliers on the pricing and delivery schedule
• Generate report from SAP system for analysis when required
• Item master creation in SAP system
• Other ad-hoc work / project / buying activities if necessary

Requirements:

• Diploma in Business Studies or equivalent
• Experience using of ERP / SAP system
