Quantity Surveyor – Managerial (Contracts/Civil/Infrastructure)

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire contracts lifecycle, including contract drafting, tendering drawings, negotiation, and administration.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Monitor contract performance and take necessary actions to address any issues.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement contract management strategies.
• Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams on contract-related matters.
• Responsible in recruiting, hiring and training of QS department and staffs.
• Manage contract amendments and variations.
• Ensure accurate and timely contract documentation and record keeping.
• Work closely with Legal Counsels and Project Accountants for necessary documentations and reviews.
• Handle contract disputes and negotiations with suppliers or subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or it's equivalent
• Min 5 years of related working experience
• Able to lead a team
• Previous experience in road works is an added advantage
