R&D Tribo Engineering Assistant(Chemical /Mechanical)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct static and dynamic reliability tests in the lab inside cleanroom.
• Assemble HDD manually and run drive level testing.
• Able to do minor trouble-shooting on chambers, measurement equipment and spin-stand testers.
• Follow the daily activity assigned by engineers and managers.
• Compile testing/ failure analysis results and send to engineers for review.
• Ensure compliance to ISO Standard Operating Procedures.
• Operate environmental chambers and measurement equipment, like Optical Microscope, Atomic Force Microscope and Optical Surface Analyzer.
• Conduct reliability tests on spin-stand testers.
• Perform necessary failure analysis using measurement equipment on post-tested recoarding heads and media.
• Able to work overtime to cover the other team members, if necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Able to handle tiny parts carefully by using a tweezer in the lab..
• Knowledge on mechanical and technical trouble shooting and equipment set up is preferred.
• Knowledge on operation of various measurement equipment
• Well-verse in discussing and presenting design work across to the team; open to giving and receiving feedback
